Well documented in Douglas Lloyd Jenkins’ At Home, the Dobson House was designed for a doctor and his family. The living area downstairs is dominated by an elegant central brick fireplace, adjacent are formal dining and sitting rooms. Also downstairs is Dr Dobson’s consulting room.

It’s a deceptively large house that has been added to over the years, but the main building remains wonderfully original and intact. All the bedrooms are on the second floor to take advantage of the Southern view toward Murray Aynsley Hill.
